- Printed Circuit Board for 9 pcs of 3mm or 5mm LED Module
- OR for 9 pcs of 1206, 1210 smd LEDs
- Circular board shape for cone shape light beam
- High quality board material (FR-4), much longer lasting
- Board thickness 1.6mm for heavy duty LED module under tough situation, for example, in motor vehicles
- Holes available on board for installation and fixation
- 2 different groups of LED with different forward voltages :
Red, Orange, Yellow (ROY) need 1.8V to 2.0V forward voltage
White, Blue, Green, UV (WBGU) need 3.0 to 3.3V forward voltage
- For ROY Group, apply 6VDC, total current for the Module is 60mA, power consumption about 0.4W
- For WBGU Group, apply 9VDC, total current for the Module is 60mA, power consumption about 0.6W
- You may like to see Voltage Regulator Kits in this web site as a power supply solution
- If Red LEDs are assembled onto this board, they can be used for car brake light
- Red light is also good for night vision, use flood mode LED for night study, can reduce sore eyes problem
- If Orange LEDs are assembled, the Module can be used as indication light, and to replace short life bulbs
- Wide angle white LED is a good soft light source, as per picture. You may like it in night study
- Spot mode (20 degree view angle) is suitable for light source for distance, but light covering area is smaller
- If you like Infra Red LEDs on the module, use 5.4V supply. IR LED is having slightly lower forward voltage than ROY group LEDs
- More imagination, blend LED colors with this board, what you need to consider is the forward voltage. Can mix up Red, Orange, Yellow in the board (6VDC supply)
OR
White, Blue, Green, UV, Flashing (9VDC).
A lot of color combination and effect can be done. For example, mix of blue and green gives you very nice ocean green; white and blue gives you icy blue light (maybe a little cool feeling when air conditioner is down). Imagination is unlimited .....
- This board is designed with a schematic of serials of LEDs, each serial is having 3 LEDs. If you can handle forward voltage calculation of LEDs in a serial, how about 1 Red and 2 Blue LED in one serial ? This light source is great for auxiliary light for your in-house plants, especially for flower. You need 8V supply to the module for this concept.
In assembly, make sure you put 1 Red and 2 Blue LED in the serial, you can find this at the copper routing under soldering mask of bottom layer, a bit more eye sore, but worth to play around
- When connecting power to the assembled module, connect +ve to the pad with a RED dot at the bottom side of the PCB
- The Boards are Brand new and never used
